• Chemical Composition Example (304): Cr 18–20%, Ni 8–10.5%, C ≤ 0.08%, Mn ≤ 2.0%, Si ≤ 1.0%.

• Mechanical Properties:

  • Tensile strength: 520–750 MPa

  • Yield strength: 205–450 MPa

  • Elongation: ≥ 40% (annealed)

• Finishes: 2B, BA, No.4, No.8 mirror, hairline, patterned.

• Corrosion Resistance: > 1000 hours salt spray for 316L in ASTM B117.

  1. EAF melting → AOD refining

  2. Hot rolling → Annealing → Pickling

  3. Cold rolling → Final annealing & pickling

  4. Surface finishing and coiling

• Standards: ASTM A240/A480, EN 10088-2, JIS G4304.

• Inspection: PMI, mechanical property test, intergranular corrosion test, surface roughness measurement.

• Packaging: Plastic or paper interleaves, steel-strapped, PVC wrapped, on wooden pallets.
